The Dinning Room Chair, the relaxed back version. All redwood dining room chair designs are inspired by Aldo Leopold's original bench design. Each chair begins with 32 linear feet of reclaimed 2 X 4 redwood cut from a dilapidated deck as it is fashioned into a beautiful modern throwback to another age. The following slide show shows an early version of the chair with only 60 - 80 dowels used in jointing. I have decided to increase the total number to 160 - 180 dowels.
